Family Birthdays

Our coaches are very special and a critical asset to the success of our AIDS prevention program. If it weren’t for them, we couldn’t teach the youth of Qwa Qwa! We appreciate all that they do, and strive to make them feel loved and valued as the vital part of our team they are.
As a department staff, we gave much thought towards additional ways to make the coaches feel as much a part of our Thrive Family as possible! What better way than to have “family” birthday celebrations. Homemade cake unveiled with the singing, chanting, or even belting of the birthday song (take your pick!) is sure to make anyone feel special and part of the fam!
We’ve really enjoyed our birthday parties with the coaches. And they’ve enjoyed them too!
