Growing and Changing
By on July 16, 2008
Our coaches are not who they once were. They used to be quiet and reserved, and showed little self-confidence. Through teaching students on their own and continued weekly training, they have a newfound confidence in themselves that they never thought they could have. Much of their growth has been self-taught, self-discovered, and self-motivated through their seeking of God’s strength and wisdom for their daily lives. This is a huge step towards becoming the spiritual leaders that most of them never dreamed they had the potential to be!
“Since I have become a coach, I pray time and time again. I pray before and after class. I learned to ask God, because He will give you everything you need. I was shy before. Now, I am proud and have no more shyness. I have even talked in my church. I have improved so much.” -Patricia
“My life is different now since becoming a coach. Now I have that passion to stand in front of 100 kids, lecturing them about how they can reach their dreams. When I taught them I realized that I can reach my dreams too.” -Rebecca

Niel and Alece, you guys are really doing it. I love the way God is changing a nation slowly but surely through your committment and love. Keep it up. You have ‘family’ here in Orlando, FL that loves you and prays for you.

Good job, coaches. Their willingness to be a conduit of truth is helping them change this nation.

Such an example of renewing of the mind and soul…the washing the Word provides for our lives. What an encouragement.

Remember Moses, who led the greatest exodus of people in his time? Who stood up before the greatest leader in their world, the Pharaoh? Do you remember what he said to the mighty God, when he was told his mission? He said, you can’t send me, I can’t speak clearly! God provided Aaron, his brother to help, and between the two of them, and a lot of perserverence, managed to change the hardened heart, and the Israelites were set free from terrible slavery. Just as he did, you have loosened your tongue, and removed your shy personality to glorify and serve God. Your deliverence of this fear, through diligent prayer, will be a lesson that will both help you, and others in many years to come. Future obstacles put in your way by Satan will also be knocked down, through the power of prayer to the mighty God of Issac, Abraham, Jacob, and Moses. Congratulations
