What the cost covers
The cost covers airfare, housing, utilities, meals, transportation, retreats, outreaches, mission trips, and other such expenses. You must have at least $2000 in your account by November 25th to cover your plane ticket.
What the cost DOESN’T cover
None of the following are covered in this budget: Passport and visa fees; health insurance; immunizations; toiletries; correspondence (newsletters, postcards, phone calls, etc.); personal spending money; or medical/dental visits, treatments, medications, etc. while in South Africa.
Because we are working hard to keep the cost of the internship at a minimum, we cannot afford to carry people who are behind in their tuition. If your finances fall behind, you will be placed on financial probation and will be required to take necessary steps to try to increase your support. If it remains behind after this point, you will be dismissed from the program (at your own expense).
If you have a problem with following the financial schedule, please notify us so we can be of assistance. Please remain honest and clear when communicating with us about your finances. If you are unable to raise the support needed to meet the deadlines, we will work you on an individual basis. We do not want the finances to keep you from participating in the program.
NOTE: All funds submitted for your Internship Program are non-refundable as IRS stipulations restrict us from refunding money for anyone who does not end up participating in the program. Any funds already sent in for someone who ends up not joining the program for any reason will then be designated toward the general ministry fund.
