Explain to me a little more about how this thing works.
We figure you might like to give towards something specific, to (figuratively) see where your donations are going. By sponsoring something through our Strategic Giving program, you’ll essentially be doing just that.
Can I purchase things on my own and send them to you?
Because of high shipping costs and import duty, it’s actually cheaper for you to donate to an item which can be purchased here. Also, some things aren’t compatible between America and South Africa. Printer ink, for example, would be a relatively easy item to ship over. But South African printers unfortunately won’t work with American printer ink. (Weird? We think so, too.)
Are my donations tax-deductible?
Yes. You’ll get a tax receipt for all of your donations.
