Every minute a South African dies of HIV

Leadership SummitThat’s how raw and real the AIDS pandemic is. And that’s why it’s so urgent that we do something about it.

We believe the only way to turn the tide is by training the next generation to lead Godly and moral lives. We teach weekly classes in public schools using our own Bible-based and culturally-compelling curriculum, with a primary focus on abstinence as the only guaranteed method of AIDS prevention. Our classes are taught by coaches, young Africans with a heart to change their nation.

Where in Africa are we?

Our mission base is located in Harrismith, South Africa, where we minister to the Basotho (pronounced “ba-soo-too”) tribe living throughout Intabazwe and Qwa Qwa.

Who is Thrive Africa

Thrive Africa’s vision is to disciple believers, equip leaders, and strengthen the church in Southern Africa. We accomplish this through AIDS prevention, pastoral development,
discipleship classes, youth camps,
mission trips, and more.

Steve Andrews, Lead Pastor

“Thrive Africa gives young people an opportunity to live a life that most only ponder. Through the various aspects of their vision, young adults are allowed to soar in the giftings that God has set within them.”
